Service Description

First Course for Administrators and Alternate Admins of Home Health Agencies, Hospices and Personal Assistance Services (PAS). To be taken within 12 months prior to appointment. As per 26TAC §558.259 (c) [previously 40TAC§97.259(d)] mandates the completion of the "Second Course for Administrators and Alternate Admins of Home Health Agencies, Hospices, and Personal Assistance Services (PAS)." This course should be taken either within 12 months prior to appointment or within 12 months from the date of appointment. Additionally, it is a required component of the initial 24 hours of training as outlined in 26TAC §558.259(b).
